CFO Aircraft Leasing
We have been retained by a major aircraft leasing company which is recruiting for a CFO. This is a unique opportunity to join a very well regarded leasing company with strong growth plans.
The role
Work with the CEO and other members of the management team in promoting the business to various parties in order to position the business to achieve its strategic objectives.
Present the business to the banking/financing/Debt Capital Markets/rating agencies to ensure that the business is well placed to successfully access financing from a wide variety of sources.
Ensure that an appropriate financing strategy is in place for the business, as well as appropriate processes and procedures around tax and treasury management.
Oversee the finance function for a growing aircraft leasing business (reporting areas include Corporate Finance, Tax and Treasury and Accounting).
Work with the Head of Accounting in setting up an appropriate accounting system for the business and oversee the accounting function including liaising with the auditors as required.
As a member of the Senior Management Team, take an active role in the management of the business as required
Requirements
Previous CFO level experience from the aircraft leasing or related sectors.
Investor relations exposure. Listed company environment experience an advantage
Proven commercial outlook with an ability to contribute positively to strategic and other decisions affecting a growing business.
Excellent influencing skills with a proven ability to communicate to and influence technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate across business functions.
Strategic thinker within the financial environment with an ability to see the bigger picture, identify potential issues and provide solutions.
Demonstrated ability to understand complex financing structures and to liaise with auditors on complex accounting issues.
Solutions driven attitude and comfortable making decisions.
Track record in managing multiple priorities with a high level of accountability.
Proven ability to manage a team and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
US Private Placement, PDP financing, structured debt or raising debt experience and an ability to think strategically around the financing of the business.
