Commercial Finance - Business Developer
Our client, a dynamic and expanding commercial finance organisation are currently looking for an experienced Invoice Finance / Commercial Finance Sales Professional to develop business across within the Leinster area.
The successful applicant will, in working to implement the sales strategy, drive new business, develop a pipeline and convert opportunities into clients within the SME sector. As such, responsibilities will include:- Development and implement an agreed sales strategy within the territory
- Target key introducers and influencers within the region and ensure that the company brand is promoted effectively and referral partnerships are in place.
- Represent our client at appropriate fora and groups, ensuring appropriate marketing, PR and networking is undertaken.
- Generate interest from potential clients through attending events, networking, social media and similar fora.
- Deliver sales that meet or exceed targets
- Liaise with and build effective relationships with internal teams (Risk, Marketing, Operations)
- Maintain appropriate compliance and regulatory requirements
- Undertake ad hoc projects and training as required
It is anticipated that applicants can demonstrate the following key experience, skills and attributes:- Background in Commercial Finance / Invoice Finance / Invoice Discounting
- Proven ability to acquire and develop new business
- Strong understanding of Cash Flow Lending products
- Good appreciation of the SME sector.
- Financial qualification or demonstrable ability to understand commercial accounts and cash-flow
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Experience developing introducer and influencer channels
- A network or clients / key players within the Dublin and Leinster region would be advantageous
- Ability to negotiate and close
- QFA or ABFA qualifications
