Enterprise Data Architect 100k + Pre-IPO
We have been retained by a rapid-growth, Pre-IPO Data Analytics client which is looking for an Enterprise Data Architect. This is a unique opportunity to join a company at the right time with an excellent culture.
The Role:
- Educate technical and architectural concepts to a highly technical audience.
- Demonstrate new product features and to drive early adoption
- Document and deliver both product feedback and new requirements from the field.
- Develop a deep understanding of the product, working closely with engineering to resolve any critical technical issues.
- Manage customer expectations, negotiate resolutions to issues and provide technical solutions.
- Assist our Customer Success Management team in investigating and responding to technical requests.
- Take a consultative role in optimizing our customer's data environments.
- Advise on database performance, altering the ETL process, providing SQL transformations, discussing API integration and rethinking a customer approach to KPIs.
- Create and advise customers on best practices that help deliver and expand on the business value derived from our data platform.
Requirements- 5+ years of relevant hands-on customer facing technical consulting or operations experience
- Management or technical project management experience
- Experience documenting and improving processes for user management, service requests and internal product ownership
- Excellent proficiency in SQL, ideally to include some of Oracle, Presto, Hive, Google BigQuery, Spark, Hive or Teradata
- Familiarity with ETL tools and experience with Linux, Git, and management of cloud servers
- Experience with business intelligence tools with a physical model and visualization tools
- Possibly a background as a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Application Developer, Senior Software Engineer, BI Consultant, Data Architect or Senior Customer Success Engineer.
