My client is a leading aircraft asset manager which is recruiting a dynamic VP Technical to support its aircraft acquisition, asset management, and powerplant strategy.
Responsibilities
• Lead all powerplant activities, including OEM relationships and MTBR/internal forecasting
• Manage aircraft and engine transitions, LOI review, and lease negotiations
• Support investor queries and portfolio analysis with a technical lens
• Oversee maintenance reserve claims and shop visit reports
• Contribute to acquisitions, sales, inspections, and technical due diligence
Requirements
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in aircraft leasing or airline technical management
• Strong engine and powerplant background essential (GE90 exposure preferred)
• Ability to lead discussions with OEMs, investors, and cross-functional teams
