- Description
My client is a growth aircraft leasing firm which has a requirement for a Head of Powerplant/Engine Management in Dublin.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage OEM relationships and 3rd party provider and airline maintenance department relationships
- Develop the long-term Engines strategic plan
- Manage future maintenance events and forecast and plan appropriately
- Work with other members of the senior management team to develop the
- Build a network of relationships across commercial, marketing and technical engine organisations
- Management the powerplant team.
- Attend industry events as required
- Build and develop a team of Powerplant experts
- Negotiate with OEMs and 3rd party providers and manage supplier relationships
Requirements:
- Commercial acumen and proven experience developing a successful engines strategy
- Comfortable negotiating at a senior level
- Bachelor degree in Aeronautical Engineering or licensed Powerplant Engineer
- 15+ years' relevant experience, ideally within aircraft leasing, airline or OEM/MRO engine management
- Proven track record analysing engine conditions, evaluating market pricing and providing relevant reports to senior management
- People management experience
- Commercial acumen and proven experience developing a successful engines strategy
