GKR has been retained by a top-tier aircraft leasing company to recruit a Global Head of Marketing. This is a unique opportunity to join a market-leading firm (Dublin-based) in a leadership position.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of experienced global airline marketing
- Work with the leadership team, to drive profitable and sustainable revenue growth.
- Lead the delivery of transactions and manage relationships with global airline customers.
- Drive innovative product and transaction offerings and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Lead marketing activities with airlines through a combination of senior C-level relationship development and, leading, developing and managing a global staff of airline marketing executives.
- Drive pricing excellence ensuring consistency and the protection or improvement of margin.
- Optimise the organisational efficiency of the marketing team by ensuring all team processes and capabilities are aligned to best position us to deliver on our airline
- Work with the wider business, collaborating and influencing all aspects of the commercial decision-making process including clearly articulating the commercial strategy of the organisation.
- Develop capabilities within the existing team, ensuring that all team members have challenging personal development plans in place.
Experience
- Extensive aviation industry experience having worked in a variety of relevant marketing roles together with a strong market reputation across a diverse network of global airline contacts and with at least 10 years held at a senior level in the aviation sector.
- Track record of successful development and implementation of marketing strategy while optimising commercial outcomes, operational performance and customer satisfaction.
- Leadership and people management experience with the ability to develop and communicate a vision that inspires and motivates staff and aligns with our business strategy.
- Ability to inspire confidence and trust through natural authority and to drive change through others.
- Experience in managing conflicts to resolution and leading by example, energizing others towards effective collaboration.
- Understanding the commercial needs of the airline customer base while at the same time seeing the success of the business as a top priority.
- Track record of delivering strong results and an ability to find simple, pragmatic solutions.
