- Description
This vacancy sits on the Finance team of a world leading aircraft leasing company and is on a 12-month contract basis.
You will have a wide variety of responsibilities including the opportunity to join the Finance team to work closely with the leasing and trading business, to develop your commercial acumen and oversee all accounting aspects of aircraft transactions.
Core Responsibilities
• Monthly reporting to Senior Management & Shareholders.
• Provide input and technical accounting advice on transactions.
• Perform reviews and reconciliations for key balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly basis.
• Process leasing transactions to ensure they are recorded appropriately in the relevant systems.
Qualifications & Experience
• Newly qualified with ACA or ACCA qualification or 1-year PQE.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in the preparation and reporting of financial statements under IFRS.
• Knowledge of the aviation industry, aircraft leasing or asset management advantageous.
