Aircraft Leasing VP Procurement
This is a unique opportunity for an individual with vision, energy, and ambition to lead, develop and improve the procurement activities of this leading aircraft leasing firm.
Core Responsibilities
- Management of technical invoices from suppliers and contractors.
- Manage complex lessee, supplier, and manufacturer relationships.
- Engage with OEM’s and suppliers to ensure that all BFE is ordered to specification and is delivered on-dock on-time to meet the aircraft delivery schedule.
- Price aircraft BFE specifications at contract bidding stage.
- Manage and leverage vendor relationships to ensure cost effective solutions are achieved across all programmes.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in aircraft leasing with knowledge of aircraft parts vendors.
- A relevant third level qualification preferred.
- Understanding of airworthiness requirements.
- Understanding of certification requirements for various aircraft parts.
- Experience in managing budgets, purchasing and invoicing with a proven aviation industry track record in aircraft materials procurement.
- Knowledge of aircraft BFE programmes.
