Aviation Finance Equity Research Analyst
About the job
Our client, a leading global aircraft leasing company, is currently experiencing rapid growth and has an exciting opportunity for an Equity Research Analyst to join the Aviation Finance team. The role will involve significant interaction with internal deal teams and business units and other aviation investors to analyse and make investment and portfolio management recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide incisive analysis and executing aviation investment opportunities for a global aviation portfolio.
- Develop and manage complex financial models driving aircraft valuation, portfolio management, and credit analysis.
- Research opportunities to determine feasibility for investment and divestment/trading and to support decision-making across the aviation portfolio.
- Manage aviation investments and recommend value-enhancing strategies.
- Provide investment recommendations to the investment review committee.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in investment banking or aviation investing.
- A relevant 3rd-level degree (finance, accounting, aviation finance, etc).
- Strong understanding of aircraft valuation, financial statements, and credit analysis.
- Expert user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Exceptional analytical abilities as well as strong presentation and communication skills.
- Extremely motivated and a capacity to be highly productive.
