About the job
Our client, a global aircraft leasing company, has an exciting opportunity for a VP Engine Product Support to join their team in Amsterdam.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct engine valuations for lease transactions
- Regularly update and fine-tune engine valuation tables and associated databases to reflect market changes and maintain competitiveness.
- Collaborate with the Deal Team to negotiate technical aspects of engine transactions.
- Provide technical expertise and support during deal negotiations, addressing questions and concerns related to engine technical specifications.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure our engine leasing activities remain competitive.
- Engage with stakeholders at a senior level to facilitate effective communication and negotiation.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the aviation industry
- Engine Leasing experience is a plus.
- Understanding of aircraft engines, including knowledge of engine OEMs, MRO processes, and the spare engine environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in engine valuation and the ability to assess engine values accurately.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successfully concluding technical aspects of engine-related deals.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders effectively.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed to support business operations.
