My client is a global aircraft leasing company that is experiencing rapid growth and has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Director (Internal Controls) to be part of a challenging, dynamic, and diverse business environment. You will be at the forefront of the Finance team and contribute significantly to the wider business.
Responsibilities:
This is a broad role where responsibilities will include assessing the operating effectiveness of the control environment, acting as audit liaison, working collaboratively across the business to document processes, and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Work collaboratively across the business to ensure financial reporting internal controls are designed and operating effectively.
- Relationship management with external auditors around internal controls.
- Relationship management and collaboration with shareholder representatives.
- Work collaboratively across the wider business to review processes and identify opportunities.
- Co-ordinate various projects with stakeholders to drive efficiencies and improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with the internal audit team to ensure a successful audit process.
