Our client, a global aircraft leasing company, is currently experiencing growth and has an exciting opportunity for VP Credit Risk to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Credit analysis of current and prospective lessees.
- Provide credit and pricing analysis assessing structured asset finance transactions for commercial aircraft including asset and counterparty risk.
- Conducting thorough research reports and maintaining a target airline watchlist.
- This is an investor-facing opportunity. The successful candidate will be someone who can lead and manage investment opportunities through each phase of the investment process.
- Synthesize the necessary legal, jurisdictional, and lessee credit diligence into an investment recommendation to senior management.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in aircraft leasing and investing is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the aviation industry and fundamentals around aircraft leasing and financing.
- Proven abilities in analysing companies/airlines and sector trends.
- Ability to synthesize diligence findings across maintenance, technical, credit, and legal into financial recommendations.
- Strong work ethic and a deep sense of accountability.
- Commercial outlook and deal-driven.
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with key external (and internal) Company interfaces.
- Driven and ambitious.
