About the job
My client, a global aircraft leasing company, is currently experiencing rapid growth and has an exciting opportunity for a Credit Risk Manager to join the Aviation Risk team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for analysing transactions for airline and jurisdiction risk.
- Assessment of aviation investment opportunity and analysis of the aviation market.
- Management and oversight of in-house credit risk model.
- Develop strong relationships and risk coverage across key regions.
- Provide credit risk analysis and reports to c-Suite and shareholders required.
- Support the business to define portfolio shape and disposal potential.
Requirements:
- 5 - 7 years experience in airline credit/risk management.
- A minimum of a relevant 3rd-level degree (finance, accounting, aviation finance, etc).
- Strong understanding of the aviation industry and fundamentals around aircraft leasing and financing.
- Proven abilities in analysing companies/airlines and sector trends.
- Commercial outlook and deal-driven.
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with key external (airlines/lessors etc.).
- Strong organisational ability combined with a proactive approach.
- Flexibility to travel.
