- Description
We are recruiting for a high-profile aircraft leasing client which has a requirement for a VP or SVP Legal, based in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growth aircraft leasing firm.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the intermediary between the marketing, pricing, trading, risk and technical teams throughout the transaction process.
- Collaborate and coordinate with external transaction counsel and local legal advisors.
- Create and negotiate transaction documents, including leases, financing agreements, and sales contracts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of documents, including offer letters, notices, amendments, consents, non-disclosure agreements, and contracts with brokers, agents, and consultants.
- Direct collection and enforcement actions, including managing litigation counsel as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and other covenants under financing documents, as well as adherence to laws such as export controls and the FCPA.
- Oversee the management and tracking of confidentiality agreements and contracts with brokers, agents, and consultants.
Requirements:
- Law degree and ability to practice in any of the following; US, England Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, or South Africa.
- At least 10 years of pertinent professional experience.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in the aviation leasing sector.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
- Proven capability in managing transactions.
- Commercially aware with a strong focus on customer (airline) relationships.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, independently, and meet stringent deadlines.
