We have been retained by a leading aircraft leasing company seeking an experienced Chief Risk Officer. As the CRO, you will spearhead risk management strategies, ensuring the long-term health of the portfolio. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a crucial role in driving informed decision-making throughout the organization.
This is a unique opportunity to lead risk management for a prominent aircraft leasing and financing company with ambitious growth plans.
Responsibilities:
- Lead deal origination and negotiation, including credit analysis and customer KYC.
- Manage the transaction evaluation process, ensuring critical deal issues are identified and risk-reward trade-offs are considered.
- Monitor financial performance of lessees and counterparties, keeping senior management informed of developments.
- Oversee risk distribution across the portfolio (credit, jurisdiction, asset type, etc.) and present quarterly Portfolio Quality Reviews to the Board.
- Lead the firm's Enterprise Risk Management process and update Risk Appetite Guardrails annually.
- Manage and develop a team of risk management professionals across Dublin, Singapore, and Stamford, CT.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Aircraft Leasing Risk Management.
- Proven track record in risk assessment, portfolio management, and credit analysis.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities.
Location: This position can be based in Dublin or Stamford.
