About the job
This is a unique opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to join a dynamic and expanding company in the aviation leasing sector.
Aviation experience is not required, but a positive, innovative, team-oriented mindset is valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial analysis spreadsheets and statistical models.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets, including analysis files, forecast reviews, and commentaries for senior management.
- Assist in the preparation of Board packs and management presentations.
- Report on weekly and monthly revenue and profitability by entity.
- Identify and interpret trends in complex data sets.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand financial performance and support strategic planning.
- Enhance financial models and forecasting.
- Gain a deep understanding of revenue and cost drivers.
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA).
- Experience in financial reporting, ideally within a specialized sector.
- Advanced skills in financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and experience preparing financial statements.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a collaborative approach to business growth.
