VP Technical - Aircraft Leasing
We are recruiting a VP Technical to join a leading Aircraft Leasing company in Dublin.
Responsibilities:
- Management of deliveries, redeliveries and repossession of assets
- Management of technical consultants
- Deal team member on transactions
- Negotiate lease conditions with lessees, resolving lessee queries
- Negotiate maintenance service agreements with MROs, partners and suppliers
- Provide support to the Leasing team on regulatory requirements, aircraft statuses and Aircraft Specification Sheets
- Provide maintenance reserve rates, review and approve maintenance reserve claims
- Coordinate, plan and implement technical audits
- Management of 3rd party technical service providers
- Responsible for all technical budgets
- Management of technical records
- Liaise with inter-departmental teams on any technical requirements they have
Requirements:
- Degree qualified
- 5+ years in a similar role in the aircraft leasing sector
- Detailed knowledge of Boeing and Airbus products both narrow and wide body
- Strong understanding and knowledge of airframes and engines
- In-depth knowledge of all technical aspects of lease agreements
- Proven track record negotiating lease terms
- Ability to accurately assess maintenance costs with a strong base knowledge of aircraft maintenance systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams across the company
- Strong communicator with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Flexible and willing to travel internationally
