- Description
Our client, a major aircraft lessor, is recruiting for a VP Technical to join their team in the United States. In this role, you will collaborate across departments to facilitate seamless, efficient transactions, while minimizing downtime and managing ownership risks.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide expertise to Origination, Aircraft Trading, and other internal teams.
- Deal Management: Negotiate technical terms for aircraft transactions, with a focus on asset protection.
- Project Oversight: Oversee fleet transitions, modifications, and reconfigurations to achieve cost-effective, timely results.
- Fleet Maintenance: Manage redelivery, re-leasing, and maintenance events to ensure optimal technical condition.
- Vendor Relations: Negotiate and review MRO agreements, lead contractor teams, and secure top talent.
- Industry Representation: Represent the team at conferences to maximize networking and partnership value.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree; Airframe & Powerplant license or EASA equivalent.
- Experience: 5-10 years in technical roles within aircraft leasing.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel expertise), with familiarity in ICMS/Leasepoint, STREAM, MyBoeingFleet, and AirbusWorld.
- Attributes: Excellent communicator, project manager, and problem solver with strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
- Right to work in the USA: (Citizen or Green card holder)
