About the Job:
My client is a high-profile lessor who has an opening for a Compliance Officer. This role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, enhancing governance frameworks, and providing company secretarial support to senior stakeholders.Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies across all operations.
- Design and maintain effective compliance policies, procedures, and risk management initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on regulatory matters.
- Deliver engaging compliance training programs to all levels of the organization.
- Oversee compliance-related reporting and due diligence processes.
- Coordinate and document board, shareholder, and committee meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and related documentation.
- Develop and manage corporate governance policies, ensuring all records and filings are accurate and up-to-date.
- Support key transactions by managing necessary corporate documentation and filings.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications in compliance or governance.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a compliance or governance role, preferably within a regulated industry.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with senior leaders and manage complex processes.
