About the Role:
We have been retained exclusively by a leading investment bank in Doha to identify a highly experienced and motivated VP Contract Management for their newly established aircraft finance team.This is a senior-level position offering the opportunity to play a critical role in the development of a world-class leasing platform. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of contract and lease management in the aviation sector, as well as a commitment to delivering excellence in risk management and customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Provide insights on customer relationships and the operational impacts of transaction structures for new deals.
- Monitor compliance with lease and financing agreements.
- Act promptly to address payment delinquencies and implement appropriate action plans.
- Manage all stakeholder and customer interactions professionally and efficiently.
- Oversee contract-related activities, including security and insurance renewals, maintenance rate adjustments, and lease option management.
- Ensure the accuracy of lease and asset data by implementing and maintaining robust procedures.
- Support the commercial team with business development initiatives and transaction closures.
- Collaborate with external partners such as insurance brokers, lease system providers, and asset servicers.
- Develop standardized templates and checklists to enhance process controls.
- Contribute to key projects, including due diligence for leases.
Qualifications:
- A degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in contract management and customer engagement within the aviation leasing industry.
- Strong knowledge of aviation insurance, letters of credit, and lease management systems.
- Exceptional relationship management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other essential applications.
