Quality Consultant
Our client is a leading and innovative software company and they are looking to recruit a Quality Consultant to join their expanding team based in Dublin city centre.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, modify and/or test software applications
- Create test plans and ensure quality of all deliverables by the team
- Build automated tests for big data platforms, complex data processing pipelines for data ingestion and data management
- Design, build, and deploy performant and scalable test solutions by applying algorithms, data structures, and development best practices
- Clarify requirements and implement solutions that encompass analysis
- Ensure high quality solutions by design and build unit tests, integration test, load test, and user acceptance tests
- Build CI/CD pipelines and ensure high quality and reliable deployments
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Broad knowledge and working experience with Spark, big data, and relational database technologies
- Strong analytical skills and capable of influencing on technical issues
- 3+ years working with one or more of: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redshift
- Professional Software Development experience with standard agile practice, CI/CD required
