Facilities Operations Manager
Our client is a market leading company and they are looking to recruit a Facilities Operations Manager to join their team. The position is offered on an initial 6-month contract basis.
Reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager, the Facilities Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations within the EMEA region.
Responsibilities:- Support the selection of outsourced contract services
- Liaising with Procurement team and monitor vendor performance against contracts and service level agreements
- Day to day operational management of soft services provided by service partners including cleaning, catering and mailroom ensuring standards are maintained at a consistent high level
- Conduct regular site inspections of facilities to ensure they are being pro-actively managed and maintained to highest standards
- Collaborate with local groups on operations solutions, processes and reporting requirements
- Support construction projects as required of varying scale
- Ensure that all safety records, statutory maintenance, inspections, reports and documentation are completed, retained and up to date at all facilities
- Ensure appropriate policies, procedures and systems are adhered to, to deliver high quality services
- Willingness to travel between locations as required
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience with Facilities Management
- Experience managing or supporting a Total Facilities Management (TFM) service provider at supervisor level or above
- Membership of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management, or recognised equivalent, is a plus
- IOSH Managing Safely or recognised equivalent Health & Safety qualification, is advantageous
- Experience managing facilities operations in a corporate environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Good level of computer literacy and knowledge to include Microsoft Office 365
- Experience of CAFM systems
