Lead Software Engineer

We are recruiting for a rapid growth technology company, who are recruiting for a Lead Software Engineer to join their team in Dublin.

Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, modify and/or test software applications for the healthcare industry
  • Design, build, and deploy performant and scalable solutions by applying algorithms, data structures, and development best practices.
  • Work on big data platforms, create complex data processing pipelines for data ingestion and data management
  • Take complete ownership of modules, be architect for the team and represent team for architectural reviews
  • Clarify requirements and implement solutions that encompass analysis
  • Ensure high quality solutions by design and build unit tests, integration test, load test, and user acceptance tests
  • Participate in all phases of project development life

  • Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Java and/or Scala Ecosystem
  • Broad knowledge and working experience with Spark, big data, and relational database technologies
  • Strong analytical skills and capable of influencing on technical issues
  • Exposure with Oracle, SQLServer, PostgreSQL, Redshift
  • Professional Software Development experience with standard agile practice, CI/CD required
