Aircraft Leasing Procurement Manager
A leading aircraft leasing company are looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team in Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of aircraft materials and parts and procurement coordination of multiple projects.
Procurement Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage the input of purchasing, repair and sales orders through system applications
- Process, review and transmit orders to suppliers
- Source parts as required for technical projects
- Negotiate and coordinate with vendors on price, lead time, payment terms
- Management of customs and shipping
- Ensure all certification paperwork is obtained and up to date
- Manage inflow and outflow of inventory throughout multiple warehouse locations including storage management, audit of inventory and sale of surplus parts
- BFE (Buyer Furnished Equipment) purchase management for new aircraft
- Produce comprehensive reports on equipment purchase and sale
- Assist in the setting up of GTAs with vendors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation related field or licenced aircraft engineer
- 2+ years’ experience in a procurement or materials management role with an aircraft lessor, airline or MRO
- Knowledge and understanding of tags and certification requirements for various aircraft parts
- Strong understanding of airworthiness requirements (FAA/EASA)
- Strong computer skills with MS Office and other supply management systems. Experience of Oracle software an advantage
