Aircraft Leasing VP Technical
An aircraft leasing client is looking for an experienced VP Technical to join their team in Dublin.
You will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery and return of aircraft to airline customers as well as being responsible for lease negotiations, issue resolution and third-party relationship management.
This is an excellent opportunity to be an integral part of the Deal Team, working cross functionally and gaining exposure throughout the business.
Responsibilities:
- Management and oversight of multiple projects
- Integral member of the Deal Team
- Negotiate lease conditions with lessees, resolving lessee queries
- Provide technical input to lease extensions, sale documents & LOI’s
- Key member of marketing, remarketing and contract negotiation teams
- Management of onsite technical consultants
- Pricing of aircraft specifications
- Review and approve maintenance reserve claims
- Relationship management of all 3rd party providers
- Building and ongoing management of relationships with airline customer
- Budget ownership
- Oversight of aircraft checks and engine shop visits
- Technical due diligence on airline customers
Requirements:
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or business
- Airframe or Powerplant license
- 10+ years technical experience required
- In depth knowledge of LOIs and lease agreements essential
- Technical experience within aircraft leasing industry essential
- Previous experience managing aircraft deliveries and transitions
- Commercial acumen essential
- Proven track record in lease negotiations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams across the company
