We are looking for a driven and innovative Principal Platform Engineer to join a team at a leading tech company in Dublin City Centre. At this EMEA HQ, you'll get to work on a platform that's used by millions of people everyday.
Here's what you'll get to do as the Principal Platform Engineer:- Drive the technical direction of the team and support product strategy in an Agile environment.
- Provide engineering team leadership and mentor other engineers.
- Strive to improve back-end performance, establishing best-in-class practises.
- Support continuous delivery and develop intelligent solutions.
- 10 or more years of experience as a Developer.
- At least 5 years working on SaaS applications and scalable distributed systems.
- Expertise working with Scala or functional programming languages in a production environment.
- Ability to leadership on best practises and the latest technologies.
- Capability to work at a fast but efficient pace.
