Android Developer - American Tech EMEA HQ
We working with a top American Tech Company who have recently set up their EMEA HQ here in Dublin. With an expanding engineering team, they are now looking for an Android Developer to join them. As Android Developer you will be involved in the full application development cycle, contributing to the design and implementation of new and innovative app features.
A day in the life of the Android Developer- Design and develop mobile applications for our clients service solutions
- Work with multi-functional teams to ensure that the app is easy to use and delights end users
- Implement development and operating process improvements to increase overall team efficiency
- Prepare reports/technical documentation if required
- Write code that is clear, concise and adheres to the coding guidelines
- BSc in Computer Science or related field
- At least 5+ years' experience in mobile app development, evidenced with a portfolio of fully featured apps
- Experience with complex mobile apps with a lot of users
- Strong knowledge of core frameworks, API’s, development tools and build processes
- Strong Android development skills (Java, Android SDK)
- Deep understanding of UI/UX design principals
- SaaS experience is an advantage
- Desire to be part of a dynamic start-up environment
