Financial Accountant
Our client is a market leading company in renewable energy. They are now recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their team based in Dublin city centre.
The Role:
- Responsible for managing the finance actions daily
- Managing the payroll function
- Oversight of other staff in the accounts payable and accounts receivable (including EU VAT customers)
- Oversight of invoicing
- Review and submission of VAT returns to Tax Advisor for Irish and UK entities
- Co-ordinate and prepare annual audit pack for external auditors in UK and external Accountant in Ireland
- Review of internal financial controls
- Project budget to actual monthly analysis
- Liaising with internal teams and senior management regarding budgeting
The person:
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- Minimum 2+ years’ PQE experience
- Experience in group accounting under Irish/UK GAAP, tax compliance and cash flow forecasting
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong skill in Excel
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a small finance team
