We are recruiting for a global aircraft leasing company who are looking for a Risk Director to join their team in Dublin
The Role:
- Assess and report counter-party risks and mitigation measures
- Develop internal team structures
- Meet with customers throughout deal initiation and subsequently while also monitor credit risk throughout the deal
- Report transaction risks and recommend risk mitigation measures
- Regularly visit airlines to liaise with senior management to assess financial performance, the Business Plan and fleet planning issues
- Evaluate country specific and macro-economic risks
- Measuring market and portfolio risks
- Minimum 6 years direct experience in risk
- Knowledge of aircraft leasing/aviation industry is essential
- Degree in the area of Business, Economics or Accountancy
- Experience within the aviation leasing sector is essential
- Diligent, logical thinker with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
