Qualified Accountant
Our client, a busy accountancy practice based in Wexford Town serving a broad range of clients across Ireland, ranging from start-ups, sole traders to SME’s and corporates, currently require a Qualified Accountant to join their team.
A dynamic, people focused firm, they provide a client centred accounting and business advisory that includes bookkeeping, financial accounting, taxation, statutory audit and payroll services.
The successful applicant will enjoy exposure across a broad spectrum of duties and responsibilities that will include:
• Preparation of final accounts
• Preparation of income tax returns
• Preparation of audited and audit exempt financial statements
• Supporting an existing portfolio of clients
• Preparation of management information for small and large enterprises
• Ad hoc client enquiries and projects as required
It is anticipated that applicants can demonstrate the following skills, attributes and experience:
• 3+ years’ practice experience (essential)
• Accounting qualification (CPA/ACA/ACCA)
• Ability and experience prepare final accounts (essential)
• Familiarity with SAGE 50 or other accounts packages
• Strong IT skills (Excel etc..)
• Tax qualification / experience (ideal but not essential)
• Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as a member of a team or on own initiative
This is a permanent role based in Wexford Town and is particularly suitable for individuals keen to develop their career within a busy and stable practice environment.
Remuneration package – €33 to 38k base (depending upon experience), discretionary performance related bonus, pension, fees / professional subs.
