Aircraft Leasing Head of Technical
An aircraft leasing company based in Dublin is looking for a Head of Technical to lead the Technical function for the business.
Responsibilities:- Manage a global ream of in-house technical professionals
- Set standards for technical aspects of aircraft deliveries, acceptance, returns, ongoing management of the asset during lease life
- Commercial negotiation of purchase/sale and leaseback transactions
- Support company activities globally, to advise on all technical and asset management related matters
- Proactively manage OEM and 3rd party provider and airline maintenance department relationships
- Work with other members of the senior management team to develop the business offering
- Build a network of relationships across commercial, marketing and technical organisations
- Negotiate with OEMs and 3rd party providers and manage supplier relationships
Requirements:
- Experienced in leading a team of internal and external technical experts in a similar role within the aircraft leasing industry
- 10+ years' relevant experience, ideally within aircraft leasing, airline or OEM/MRO engine management
- People management experience
- Commercial acumen
- Strong negotiation experience
- Extensive experience operating at a senior level in a leasing company
