Senior IT Support Engineer, eCommerce Company, Dublin
In partnership with a global eCommerce company, we are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join a busy global support team in Dublin. The team is responsible for messaging and collaboration platforms at an Enterprise level.
This position is available on a year-long contract basis with potential for extension/a view to permanency.
What you'll be doing:- Work on Level 3 technical issues within the messaging and collaborations team.
- Proactively support existing platforms to resolve complex technical issues, providing a high level of customer support.
- Identify and solve problems relating to voice and conference services such as Skype for Business or Office 365.
- Research and trial new technologies through proof of concepts to improve the current setup.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams and multiple levels of management up to executive level.
What you'll need:
- 10+ years of IT Support experience within a Windows environment.
- Strong PowerShell scripting experience.
- 5+ level 3 support experience for messaging/collaboration technologies including Skype for Business and Office Exchange services.
- Expertise in networking and load balancing technologies.
- Experience working at Enterprise level.
- An ability to plan, design and deploy new IT solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
