Senior Systems Administrator - Global eCommerce Company
Our client is a global leading in eCommerce based in Dublin who are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator. As the Senior Systems Administrator you'll work to cover the EU market providing vertical support to outsourced Customer Service Agents and Partner Vendors.
What you'll get to do:
- Be pro-active, identifying issues and taking action on anticipated problems and overall user experience.
- Manage VMware infrastructure and Citrix for clients and hosts.
- Troubleshoot on new application deployments.
- Liaise with Partner Vendors and hold weekly update meetings with business holders.
- Collaborate with Supervisors and Team Leads to collect feedback to identify and minimise issues and increase efficiency.
What you'll need:
- 5 years+ technical experience with a strong functional/technical background.
- Excellent knowledge of VMWare, Citrix and Windows Operating systems.
- Ability to disseminate information to technical and non-technical staff.
- Knowledge of Wyse an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Native level English.
- Travel to other sites.
The opportunity is available on a year-long contract with the potential for extension/conversion to permanent. An element of travel is required for this position.
