Senior Test Engineer - Immediate Interview
An excellent Senior Test Engineer opportunity has become available with a leading Corporate Client in Dublin City Centre. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will define a QA strategy for new and existing applications. This position will suit a Senior Test Engineer who is comfortable being hands-on with the testing process within a cloud-based and MS stack environment.
What you'll do:
- Define and implement a QA strategy for a variety of business applications.
- Work within an MS stack and cloud-based environment on QA capabilities to improve overall delivery quality.
- Manage with external vendors/business suppliers and interact with users to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- QA testing processes across multiple applications including resource planning, criteria definition and test planning.
- Complete manual and automated testing as necessary, leading bug resolution.
- Lend your experience to the IT team which includes Developers, Business Analysts and Project Managers.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- TMAP or ISTQB certified.
- Strong knowledge of automated and manual testing in a cloud-based environment.
- Solid SQL experience.
- Expertise working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) is an advantage.
