VP Technical - Aircraft Leasing - Hong Kong

A Hong Kong based Aircraft Leasing company is looking for a VP Technical to join their expanding team.

The VP Technical will play a vital role in contract negotiations, issue resolution and third party relationship management, collaborating with the team on a global level to ensure the successful delivery and return of aircraft to airlines.

Responsibilities:

• Management od deliveries, redeliveries and repossession of assets
• Provide technical input and direction on proposed transactions associated with leases, sales and purchases
• Review technical provision of lease agreements participate in Lessor/Lessee negotiations
• Ensure delivery condition compliance
• Management of all technical budgets
• Management of maintenance, modification, reconfiguration and repainting requirements
• Management of 3rd party technical service providers
• Conduct operational audit reviews of current and perspective Lessees
• Maintenance cost negotiation with MRO's

Requirements:

• 3rd level qualifications in engineering or business
• Aircraft leasing experience in management of deliveries, redeliveries
• Excellent technical knowledge of airframes and engines
• In-depth knowledge of all technical aspects of lease agreements
• Strong negotiation experience and proven track record
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
• Results driven with strong commercial focus
• Demonstrated technical leadership abilities to manage, provide guidance and recommendations to deal teams
• Experience in the China aircraft leasing industry
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Eligible to work in Hong Kong without restriction
