Aircraft Leasing - Powerplant, Senior Manager
A major aircraft leasing client based in Dublin is looking for a Powerplant, Senior Manager to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities:- Management of a portfolio of engines
- Manage future maintenance events and forecast and plan appropriately
- Proactively manage OEM and 3rd party provider and airline maintenance department relationships
- Management of shop visits, shop invoices, airline workscope and regulatory requirements
- Negotiate with OEMs and 3rd party providers and manage supplier relationships
- Review of lease agreements and development if lease language to preserve engine values while minimising aircraft delivery costs
- Define workscopes to meet contracted delivery conditions
- Support aircraft transition process
- Management of maintenance reserve claims and relevant sign off
- Forecast future engine costs
Requirements:- Bachelor degree in Aeronautical Engineering or licensed Aircraft Engineer
- 5+ years' relevant experience in a similar role
- Aircraft leasing experience preferred
- Extensive experience with commercial engines including GE/CFMI/RR/PW
- Proven track record analysing engine conditions, evaluating market pricing and providing relevant reports to senior management
- Knowledge of aircraft lease agreements
- Strong negotiation experience
- Ability to travel at short notice
