Aircraft Leasing Procurement Assistant
A high profile aircraft leasing client has an opportunity for a Procurement Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure into this dynamic industry.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the procurement database
- Support the Procurement Manager
- Monitor and update procurement progress reports
- Generate purchase orders and submit for approval
- Track invoice payments
- Provide Aircraft on Ground support
- Arrange shipping logistics and monitor until delivery
- Predict and resolve procurement and/or shipping delays
- Support workout and transition projects
- Liaise and coordinate with financial and legal departments
Requirements
- Aeronautical Engineering Degree or two years' aircraft maintenance experience
- 1+ years' relevant experience
- Previous experience at an airline, aviation vendor, MRO, OEM or aircraft lessor
- Must have good technical understanding of aircraft components
- Advance computer and MS Office skills
- Motivated team player with excellent communication and analytical skills
