COMPLIANCE MANAGER - Financial Services
A leading International Financial Services Company has an opportunity for an experienced Compliance Manager to work on their dynamic and growing team.
This opportunity involves working with a number of programmes, a small international aspect and interaction with the Central Bank of Ireland.
The Role:
- Ensure there are clear and robust policies and procedures in place
- Take responsibility for the ongoing monitoring of all regulatory requirements
- Work closely with different offices (Ireland and Europe) on all policy updates
- Interact with the CBI - liaise with the regulator to address enquiries and engage regularly.
- CBI Reporting and metrics
- Monitor and update regulatory developments on an ongoing basis
- Oversee the monitoring of specified outsourcing programmes
- Provide training on compliance-related topics
- Keep up to date on Corporate Governance, Regulatory Risk & SII
The Person:
- A minimum of 5 years Compliance experience within Financial Services (Banking / Insurance)
- Knowledge of the main requirements of the Financial Regulator - experience with the CBI
- Strong knowledge of SII, Corporate Governance & Regulatory Risk
- A Compliance qualification ( LCOI / ACOI)
- Outstanding communications skills - both professional and interpersonal
- A knowledge of the insurance sector would be advantageous
- Ability to work to demanding deadlines with no loss of accuracy
- A commitment to quality and attention to detail
