Aircraft Leasing Group Financial Controller
We have been retained by a high profile aircraft leasing company who are currently recruiting for a Group Financial Controller to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the company's accounting and controls function
- Supporting the CFO and exec team on a broad range of business issues.
- Work with the commercial teams to determine accounting treatment of complex aircraft leasing transactions as required
- Preparation of both management and financial accounts
- Motivation and management of the accounting team
- Manage the audit for group companies
- Reporting and presenting financial KPIs to management and shareholders
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Ad hoc projects when required
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 7+ years' PQE
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in the aircraft leasing sector
- Previous experience managing an accounting function
- Experience of working through complex technical accounting and consolidation issues
- Strong systems and controls experience
- People management experience
- Willingness to travel as required
