Senior Software Architect - Innovation/Big Data
We are recruiting for a rapid growth technology company, who are seeking a Senior Product Architect to join their team in Dublin.
What you will do:
- Work with innovation lab colleagues and stakeholders to demonstrate prototypes, and newer technologies.
- Be able to research, develop and apply new innovative technologies from other domains.
- Working with a team of Data Analysts, Engineers, Data Scientists and Machine Learning Experts.
- Leverage technical expertise across the enterprise to architect.
- Have experience with commercial environments/products.
- Work with innovation lab colleagues and stakeholders to demonstrate prototypes, and newer technologies.
- Work with autonomy to find different solutions to difficult problems.
What you need:
- Bs or MS in Computer Science or related fields.
- 8+ years of programming experience in multiple programming languages.
- Experience with full lifecycle software development and processes and methodologies in a business or academic context.
- Experience with container technologies, cloud implementations and continuous integration.
- A strong background in technical or data focused environments.
- Proven ability to break down and define a problem.
- Excellent communicator.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Hadoop, Kafka, Storm, Spark or related tools.
- Experience with Java, Python, Scala, C++ and JavaScript.
- Experience of full stack development, API first Strategies and serverless computing.
