Sales Engineer - BI SaaS company
A pre-IPO Business Intelligence company with an EMEA HQ in Dublin are actively looking for a Sales Engineer to join their growing team. As the Sales Engineer you'll work with sales counterparts, help acquire new customers, expand relationships and drive revenue growth.
What you will do:
- Contribute to sales scripts, lead customer discovery, share knowledge expertise and guide solution development.
- Responding to functional and technical elements of RFPs.
- Communicating customer requirements and potential competitor solutions.
- Providing a strong technical response for the customers.
- Managing customer trials and ensuring that they are able to engage with the product, the trial and being able to move towards a resulting solution.
- A deep understanding of the company product, and working closely with sales to resolve technical issues.
- Keeping up to date with product releases and new features, assisting in training new hires.
- Collaborating with internal sales, marketing and services teams to create customised presentations, demos and trials.
What you need:
- 3+ years' pre-sales experience/solutions consulting within enterprise SaaS buying environments.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL programming.
- To have experience in successfully demonstrating the value of Business Intelligence and Analytics tools.
- Passion for data and analytics.
- Available for 25% regional travel.
- Good presentation and demonstration skills.
- Team selling, partnering with sales to qualify opportunity.
- Fluent in English, second language is beneficial.
