- Description
A major Aircraft Leasing company is recriuting an SVP Marketing - Americas to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for originating suitable new aircraft lease opportunities with US and Latin American airlines as well as having responsibility for remarketing aircraft coming off lease to airlines in the region
- Marketing of aircraft for lease with airlines in the region
- Identifying opportunites for sale and purchase/ leaseback of aircraft with airlines in the region
- Maintaining relationships with stakeholders (Airlines, Lessors, MROs, OEMs) in the region
- Assisting with the management of the company'scurrent and future portfolio to maximise the shareholders' return on equity and reduce asset and credit risk through good asset management and trading
- Structuring operating leases and pre-delivery payment finance facilities
- Leading deal teams and working with risk, technical, legal, finance and any other internal stakeholders including Accipiter's shareholder to bring transactions to fruition
- Negotiating LOIs and leases with airlines and liasing with all relevant internal and external stakeholders in relation to same
- Working with Accipiter's marketing and management teams on business development, marketing strategies and growth plans for Accipiter
Requirements:
- Educated to Degree/ Postgraduate or similar level
- Excellent current airline contacts
- An ability and reputationfor closing large value transactions
- Proven track recod of succesful placement and remarketing of aircraft
- Expereince managing a number of key accounts for existing commercial airline customers
- Commercial acumen and substansial exposure and expereince in aviation leasing and financing
- Strong knowledge of operating lease terms, asset security issues, delivery and return conditions and aviation insurance
