Aircraft Leasing Financial Controller
My client, an aircraft leasing company based in Dublin city centre, is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the financial reporting, financial control, working capital management, budgeting and forecasting functions
- Work with the commercial teams to determine accounting treatment of complex aircraft leasing transactions as required
- Manage the finance team, including training and development
- Oversee the Accounts Payable function
- Preparation of year end statutory accounts for all group companies
- Develop and implement processes and policies to maintain and improve internal controls
- Ensure all reporting is in compliance with formal requirements
- Responsibility for internal reporting - Board reporting, other ad-hoc presentations for CEO, ad hoc investor queries as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA)
- Minimum 5 years PQE
- Experience in aircraft leasing or aviation is essential
- Big 4 qualified is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills
