Aircraft Leasing Treasury Accountant
Our client, a leading aircraft leasing company based in Dublin city centre, is currently recruiting for a Treasury Accountant/ Financial Instruments Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of all system generated treasury postings relating to a portfolio of over $25BN
- Assist with the monthly review of key balance reconciliations
- Analysis, calculations and postings for the following areas; secured debt, unsecured debt, derivatives and other treasury related transactions.
- Prepare US GAAP derivatives and hedging accounting requirements
- Assist with the preparation of all relevant SOX control documentation
- Prepare and review Treasury related information for inclusion in financial statements, ensuring compliance with legislative provisions and accounting standards
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Assist with system development to ensure Treasury IT systems are up to date for efficient accounting treatment of all treasury transactions
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred
- Minimum 1 years' PQE
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is essential
- Knowledge of treasury products is desired
- Big 4 experience is an advantage
- Experience with Sun or another ERP system is an advantage
- Aviation experience an advantage
This position is starting as an 11 month contract with strong opportunities to go permanent.
