IT Business Analyst - Aircraft Leasing
My client, a leading aircraft leasing company, is currently recruiting an IT Business Analyst to join their team based in Dublin city centre. This person will be involved in the implementation of a new IT strategy to update their application landscape to provide integrated and modern applications to their global user base.
Responsibilities:
- Analysing business processes and requirements
- Preparing accurate and detailed documentation for requirements and functional specifications
- Liaise between the business and development and test teams to understand the requirements and provide solutions
- Collect and evaluate data through task analysis, business process definition and workshops
- Managing any change requests
- Investigating data discrepancies
- Provision of functional specifications
- Presentation of business cases to senior management
- Ensure compliance with all organisational, legal and regulatory requirements and standards, including SOX compliance and Security
The successful candidate will have:
- Third level degree in Information Technology or Sciences
- 3-5 years' experience working as a business/systems analyst
- Extensive experience in technologies such as Salesforce, SQL, Qlickview, Microsoft Stack
- Previous experience throughout entire software development life-cycle
- Advanced data analysis and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of IT compliance (SOX) and operational excellence models
