Employee Relations Specialist €60K 2 year fixed term contract
We are currently recruiting for a global payments organisation, who require an Employee Relations Specialist to join their HR team.
The successful candidate will be managing important HR topics such as providing guidance on policies, employee counselling, managing diversity, ensuring equal employment opportunities.
What you'll do…
- Guide employees on a wide range of employee relations issues, liaising with the legal department
- Conduct investigations into employee or manager complaints that are escalated from managers
- Conduct investigations and advise on employee grievances/complaints
- Provide legal advice in line with employment and contract law
- Keep up to date with regional legal and regulatory issues that affect employment and recommend appropriate modifications to existing policy and practices as needed.
- Responsible for implementing necessary policy and process changes in partnership with legal team
- Coach and advise manager on performance management and corrective action
What you'll need
- 3+ years' employee relations/HR generalist experience
- Experience in a large multinational organisation is an advantage
- Understanding of Irish employment legislation and employment practices specific to Ireland
- Experience of coaching senior leaders
- Certification/qualification in HRM and/or Employment Law preferred
