- Description
We are currently seeking an aircraft leasing corporate legal counsel. You will be responsible for leading the Irish compliance, company regulation and anti-money laundering.
Responsibilities
Review, advise on, draft, negotiate and manage the documentation of high profile aircraft sale, aircraft purchase, aircraft financing and other corporate projects involving multiple parties in multiple jurisdictions from the pre-contractual stages through to completions.
- Monitor compliance with relevant policies
- Assist legal personnel in gathering the inputs necessary to keep the track of the aircraft financing activity.
- Enforce law firm billing guidelines and propose enhancements and refinements
- Point person for legal counsel fee accruals – liaison with law firms and accounting personnel within the team
Job-specific competencies
- Minimum of two years’ experience in aircraft leasing or relevant corporate legal experience
- Anti-Money laundering experience
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal);
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to work across teams efficiently;
- Ability to prioritize and manage a diverse workload in international business;
- Flexible, hard-working, self-starting and tenacious
- Strong analytical skills and ability to propose solutions to complex legal issues
