- Description
My client is a major aircraft leasing company who are recruiting a VP Legal to join their team in Hong Kong.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible to review transaction documentation and manage negotiation in connection with aircraft lease, finance and portfolio trading provide legal opinion, identify and prompt legal risk, advise on legal risk aversion measures
- Standardize and manage all kinds of legal documents in connection with the company's business and business management activities, as well as the execution, operation, modification and cancellation of such legal documents
- Regulate external legal counsel management, engage external legal counsel, evaluate their service
- Communicate and coordinate with Beijing Legal team of the parent company to handle litigation and arbitration case
- Provide legal advice on the legal issues involved in the daily operation and management of the company
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and above, majored in law, have legal qualification license or equivalent certification
- Minimum 5 years work experience in financial law field, experience in law firm is preferred
- Familiar with aviation leasing industry, having knowledge of Asian-Pacific commercial aircraft leasing market
- Fluent in English and preferably Mandarin
- Team player, accept multicultural work environment, have good communication skills, and can accept frequent business trips
