Aircraft Leasing - Engineering Services Manager - Singapore
A leading aircraft leasing company is looking for an experienced Engineering Services Manager to join their team in Singapore.
The successful candidate will provide modification pricing internally and support the technical team regarding aircraft on lease.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure best engineering approach to fulfil delivery commitments
- Prepare RFQ and select engineering company
- Manage aircraft modifications (cabin, avionics and systems) at time of embodiment and arrange on site support
- Identify material for modifications in support of used aircraft transitions
- Develop detailed engineering/modification schedules
- Ensure all planning, labour and tooling are in place as required
- Develop LOPA design
- Review aircraft modifications, repair records and certification basis
- Obtain import authority validation of existing major modifications
- Negotiate prices and terms together with the Procurement team
- Participate in lease negotiations, ensuring budget for planned modifications is accurate
- Manage review meetings to ensure compliance with lease and customer requirements
- Coordinate the purchasing and selection of parts
- Assist clients regarding interior and avionics configurations
Requirements:
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Aircraft Engineers License
- 5-10 years' experience in aircraft modification engineering
- Strong technical knowledge of various aircraft models
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong planning skills
- Willingness to travel at short notice
