- Description
My client is an aircraft leasing company which is recruiting an SVP Technical to join their Dublin team. You will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of aircraft leasing agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Set standards for technical aspects of aircraft deliveries, acceptance, returns, ongoing management of the asset during lease life
- Commercial negotiation of purchase/sale and leaseback transactions.
- Support company activities globally, to advise on all technical and asset management related matters.
- Implement efficient record and database management methods, ensuring all data is accurate and accessible for all team members
- Provide technical input to lease extensions, sale documents and LOI’s
- Responsible for aircraft technical audit
- Support aircraft transition projects and pre- delivery inspections
- Provide support to the Leasing team on regulatory requirements, aircraft statuses and Aircraft Specification Sheets
- Evaluate potential aircraft purchases, ensuring that all records meet the required internal standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical or Aircraft engineering
- At least 10 years’ experience within a technical management role from a lessor, MRO or airline
- Experienced in leading a team of internal and external technical experts in a similar role within the aircraft leasing industry, where you have set standards in process, procedure and project management
- Critical thinker with high attention to detail
- Willingness to travel at short notice
- Strong MRO experience
